King Princess is kicking off the new year with more US tour dates. Let me know if you’d be interested in covering her show on January 19 at the Roseland Theater in Portland.
King Princess released her debut album Cheap Queen on Zelig/Columbia Records to critical acclaim in October. The album has since appeared on multiple year-end lists including TIME, GQ, Uproxx, Consequence of Sound and is featured on this year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
2019 was a monumental year for King Princess: she made her “Saturday Night Live” debut with performances of “1950” and “Hit The Back,” and just a few weeks earlier, made her U.S. television debut on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
King Princess is set to embark on the second leg of her North American headline tour mid January through the end of February and will then join Harry Styles on the European leg of his world tour in the spring.
