Portland Story Theater invites you to join us for a free storytelling event on Saturday, March 26th in Cascade Locks. Come hear Lawrence Howard, the Armchair Adventurer, tell Shackleton, The Untold Story over at the beautiful Gorge Pavilion in Cascade Locks. Lawrence is going back to the story that started the Armchair Adventure series in 2008, this time with a new version of the harrowing tale, the story of the Ross Sea Party — those valiant men on the other side of Antarctica who gave everything they had to lay down the caches of food and fuel along the route — caches that, as it turned out, Shackleton never used. Bob Hicks of Oregon Arts Watch calls Lawrence Howard "one of the most engaging raconteurs." Dennis Sparks, theater reviewer, called ‪Shackleton‬, The Untold Story "storytelling theater at its best." This show is FREE through the generous sponsorship of The Port of Cascade Locks. Claim your free tickets. This program is appropriate for Young Adults 15+ if accompanied by a parent. See you next Saturday in Cascade Locks! Doors 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:00 p.m. that runs until 9:30 with intermission.
