We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Also, please remember that we'll be archiving these ideas on the siteowner web site, so that you can go back and view them whenever you like.

Welcome To Our New Advisory Board Members!
|
|
|
This year two of our advisory board members have rotated off the board and we want to send a very big thank you to Jeff Alsup and Lisa Vaughn for all their hard work and contributions to the board the past couple of years.
Our 6-member advisory board is a big help to us in mentoring new MAiZE members, selecting scholarship winners, helping with the Corn Party and giving us valuable insights on how to help our MAiZE family as best we can. We are excited to welcome two new board members...

A Quick Hello from Justin
Hello from Southwest Michigan. Gull Meadow Farms started over 30 years ago and has evolved a lot over that time. We began with a fruit stand by the side of the road, added retail greenhouses in the early 90’s and began with agritainment in 2000. I have been working at the farm for most of my life but came back to the farm full time in 2008. I am blessed to have a wonderful supportive wife, Kelly, and two young sons, Coleman and Brekan.
We realized the real potential of the fall season when an apple orchard about 15 minutes away decided to retire and send all their customers our way about 10 years ago. We have been adding ever since and see growth continuing as we expand each year. We have been so blessed to be a part of the MAiZE organization since 2006. I am looking forward to sharing the struggles and triumphs we’ve come across over the years in hopes that it will impact others in a positive way. I am very humbled and honored to be a part of the advisory board.

Diane Bruinsma
Chilliwack, BC, Canada
John and Diane Bruinsma, along with their partners, Lloyd and Wendy Taekema, have been members of the MAiZE family since 1999. It has been an "amazing" journey and we have survived a lot and learned a lot along the way.
We have 4 children who have all grown up in the maze business and still help out on those crazy days (all it takes is an SOS text). My favourite past time is hiking and I'mn thankful for the beautiful area I live in to be able to explore.
If you are ever in the Chilliwack area, please give us a call. We would love a visit and a hike if you have time!
