This presentation shares some of the professional and cultural experiences of working for a major engineering firm in the Middle East on major projects, as well as providing some insight in the challenges of striking a balance between adapting to local customs and maintaining Canadian engineering ethics. | ||

Robert Plaschka, P.Eng. is an electrical engineer and owner of RHP Technical Services Inc., a small local engineering firm that provides control system and automation solutions to industry. Currently, the company provides automation consulting to the automotive sector, and is involved in several projects in the mining industry. Mr. Plaschka has B.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa (1990). | ||
