It takes Larry three tries to figure out the haftarah that we chant this week for Shabbat Sh’kalim, but Rick helps him get it right. Larry connects the story in the haftarah to African infrastructure finance (and if that doesn’t grab you nothing will) while Rick thinks he’s found the first reference to a tzedakah box.
The Mishnah Study Group will be gathering to learn on February 13th with Kathy Rosenblatt.
