Christmas Emergency Questions

Hello again

Here's all your Herring-based news for November and beyond

EMERGENCY QUESTIONS - SPECIAL EDITIONS

Just in time for Christmas we're releasing some special editions of the new Emergency Questions books, that I think fans of the podcast would love as a present - plus they will generate some funds for future podcasts

As well as the regular book, if you head to Go Faster Stripe you'll be able to buy

RUDE SNOWMAN EDITION - Rich will write Happy Christmas, sign the book and hand-draw a picture of a snowman with his knob out.  Each snowman will be slightly different, like the Cabbage Patch dolls, but with his knob out. Plus we'll put £5 in the podcast kitty for every one we sell

LIMITED EDITION BONUS QUESTION- There will be just 100 copies of the book, which will be signed, numbered and include a bonus and brand new emergency question, just for you, hand-written in the front. A different question in every book. Plus we'll put £5 in the podcast kitty for every one we sell.

I hope lots of you will be using the book over Christmas. It's the perfect gift to get your Xmas going with a bang.

OH FRIG I'M 50 DVD
The DVDs have arrived and we're in the process of sending them out to all the people who backed the Kickstarter. You should have them (and your other goodies) next week.

Only 1000 DVDs have been printed, so there are a very limited number that will be for sale at gofasterstripe.com

They are 4 disc sets which include the Oh F*** I'm 40 show and extras and the Oh Fr** I'm 50 show and extras including a special art exhibition match of Me1 vs Me2 Snooker.

There are 50 signed and numbered copies (of only 200 made) which will be selling for £50 (though you will also get a "When I buy a bag for life.. I think yeah, probably is" bag and a novelty cheque for 2 x £15 and signed programmes

And a few regular unsigned copies that will be for sale for £25, and will include the novely cheque.

I will be selling the non-limited edition versions at RHLSTP for the next few weeks, whilst stocks last

The show without the extras will be available to download from gofasterstripe too.

RHLSTP
The 14th series is going really well and thanks to everyone who has come. The final show is sold out, but there are quite a few tickets left for the next three, which is surprising because the guests are great.

October 29th Amanda Abbington and James O'Brien
November 5th Fingers on Buzzers podcast and Joe Lycett
November 12th Rick Edwards and Sanjeev Bhaskar
November 19th Adam Buxton and Terry Hall

You can watch the episodes here
(also on iTunes)
Or listen at the British Comedy Guide
or iTunes

The two Manchester audio only podcasts are both up too and we're planning to do loads more on the road in 2019.
The only confirmed one so far is in BIRMINGHAM at the Town Hall on 23rd March at 3pm. It's only £10 a ticket. I don't know who the guest will be yet. But it's already selling really quickly, so if you want to come Brummies, then book here.

Bristol Slapstick Festival
And I am honoured and excited to be curating the Bristol Slapstick Festival in January. I'll be chatting to the Goodies, the team behind the Inbetweeners and Tim Vine and doing some other stuff too. I will see if I can get these chats filmed/recorded, but otherwise the only way to be sure of seeing them is to buy your tickets here
It runs the 18th-20th January 2019.

STAND UP
Not really gigging at the moment and don't think there will be many stand up gigs in 2018/9 but I am doing a headline set in Milton Keynes on 10th November. Buy tickets here.

RELATIVITY
We're finally recording the second series of this Radio 4 sitcom in mid-November (and I have 3 and 1/2 of the 4 scripts written) and I believe it's slated to go out in January 2019. Hard to tell, but I think it's looking good at the moment and we've got all the same cast back on board.

DRIP/MONTHLY BADGERS
And if you want to make a small but regular commitment to our enterprise, and get festooned with amazing extras including all the RHLSTP backstage interviews, downloads of all my stand up shows, exclusive video question and answer sessions, entry into a monthly prize draw PLUS find out the RHLSTP guests before everyone else then why not become a Dripster
You'd be paying less than a pound a week in return for 365 blogs and about 40 RHLSTPS.
Drip will shortly be rebranded, but it should all change over fairly effortlessly

If you want pretty much all of that, but not the stand up shows (not sure if you'll get the Q and A sessions either) then set your own price and become a monthly badger.
This is very much an either/or choice with whichever package suits you best.

Look at that lovely DVD. Remember that format? What a shame it will never be played.

Thanks for reading
