We've got a fresh supply of two of our favorite hand dyed yarns in the shop. First up, Northwoods fibers has a gorgeous collection of solids and variegates perfect for knitting up during the dark, chilly months ahead. We love these colorways, and she is downgrading her studio, so it's likely the last time you will see these beauties on our shelves. |
Next up is Tosh Vintage. We had to add some new pegs in the Worsted room to show off all the beautiful and intricate colors. We stock Tosh Vintage mostly in the gorgeous variegates, but it pairs wonderfly with Malabrigo Rios if you need a solid to go with it. This is a great yarn for knitting up the perfect hat for someone. Just pick a skein, pick a pom-pom to go with it and knit away! Some patterns perfect for this exercise are: Rafa's Hat, Barley Worsted, Bankhead, The Big Easy, Whizzbees Beanie, and Timber Bay. |

Aside from yarn, what can you get for the knitter or crocheter in your life? If they need help winding their yarn, a swift and/or ball winder should be at the top of their list for. For those just entering the world of knitting and crochet a set of crochet hooks or interchangeable needles would be perfect. If they already have a good collection of tools, we have several styles of cases for organizing everything. And if they have all that, everyone could always use another project bag, or maker's train case to help keep everything together, or yarn bowls, pendles, and Lemonwood Mini Minders to keep their yarn wrangled. If all else fails, there is always a ReBelle gift cards, every crafter's favorite. You can even add some fun stitch markers or find that perfect sticker to tuck in the envelope as an extra surprise. |

Here's some more gift ideas, this time for felters. If you have a needle felter in your life, or an aspiring needle felter, we are fully stocked with supplies and kits perfect for gifting. We have a ton of needle felting kits from Woolbuddy and Felted Dog for beginning and intermediate felters. For the more advanced felters we have you covered with some amazing tools including fiber blending brushes, packs of needles, felting mats, and the Hedgie edging tool. |
Introducing the new Zodiac Series from Emma's Yarn! As they follow the sun’s path through the cosmos throughout the next astrological year, they are releasing a Theme Pack and a Super Silky Trio for each of the twelve signs of the zodiac as they come up! We will have all 12 colorpacks and theme packs as they come out.
November 22nd marks the beginning of the eighth month of the astrological year, Sagittarius. People born with the sun in Sagittarius are said to be curious, optimistic, and adventurous. The “Sagittarius” Theme Pack smoothly transitions from warm earth tones to cool sky shades, mirroring their sense of wandering and discovery, while the Super Silky Trio reflects the Sagittarius nature with greens that explore, blues that uplift, and violets that reach toward new horizons. Both are great ways to celebrate our Sagittarius friends.

The December Crazy Beautiful Color of the month from Emma's Yarns is like winter citrus at the beach. This stunning blend of tealy greens and rusty oranges is such a Floridian holiday vibe! We can’t get enough!
As usual, the color plays well with a huge variety of coordinating colors! Pictured here (top to bottom) with Aloha, Kale, Tealicious, & Foxy Lady.

This month we have a trunk show from Ali of Road Trip Sock yarn featuring two of her yarn collections. Her Road Trip collection features small-batch mega speckles over tonals inspired by road trip destinations. Her Herd of Cats collection features colorways inspired by cats from her local shelter. She gives ten percent of the profits from this collection to her local shelter to help with costs while these animals wait for their furever homes. We absolutely fell in love with her colorways last summer when we met her and we think you are also going to love her yarns. Ali is a conscientious dyer, striving to decrease environmental impact by using renewable energy and recycled products in her business wherever she can another thing we absolutely love. Her yarns will be in the shop starting this weekend so stop by and check them out!!
