Event Happens: June 15 + 16
The Smyrna Yacht Club is adding a new SUMMER SOLSTICE REGATTA to its competitive sailing program. The competitors from across the region will be able to join the Friday night skippers meeting and party before the main on-water event.
Stay at the Night Swan B&B, with your sailboat at our 160-ft dock!
There will be as many buoy races in the ocean as is possible on Saturday, followed by the opportunity to relax and swap stories at the club's Tiki overlooking the Indian River.
The awards ceremony will also take place on Saturday evening. Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places in each division.
The regatta is open to all sailboats of suitable seaworthiness to participate in the near-shore racing in the Atlantic Ocean just south of Ponce de Leon Inlet.
Boats will be entered into 3 divisions:
Division 1: Boats with spinnakers
Division 2: Boats without spinnakers
Division 3: Cruising boats
Prime shore-side spectator viewing area will be from Toni & Joe's Patio, 309 Buenos Aires Street, NSB, a proud sponsor of the inaugural Solstice Regatta.

24th Annual Seaside Fiesta on Flagler Avenue!
Event Happens: Thursday, June 21 5-9pm
The annual Seaside Fiesta takes place on New Smyrna Beach’s lovely Flagler Avenue on the beachside. The Fiesta features live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, food, games and more. Many of the Flagler merchants also feature special sales and activities. The Fiesta is co-sponsored by the City of New Smyrna Beach and the Flagler Avenue Merchants. This is a fun night out for everyone!

125 Years and Going Strong!
New Smyrna Beach celebrated 125 years with a weekend full of events experiencing our past, present, and future! The celebration kicked off with a time capsule and sculpture dedication at city hall. Following was a reception at the New Smyrna Museum of History.
Other weekend events included:
- Kids fishing tournament
- Period arts and crafts, Atlantic Center for the Arts
- Family games and activities
- Food Truck Bazaar/Gourmet Convoy
- Firecracker 4-Mile Run
- Fireworks over the river
- Canal Street dance and music
- "Love in the Park", a community worship celebration
