Updated Co-op Member-Owner Benefits
We want to make sure that everyone knows about the updated Member-Owner benefits and to remind you once again that the last day to use daily and double discounts will be Monday, August 14, 2017.

Among other benefits, active Member-Owners will enjoy special sales and promotions. One of these is our monthly First Friday special, the next on August 4th where you will save 10% on items in the Wellness department! This includes vitamins, supplements, protein powders, hair & body care products (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, sunscreens), as well as essential oils, tinctures, and Wellness items sold in bulk (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, oil, and bulk supplements). This discount will not apply to items already on sale.

Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is meant to raise awareness about single-use disposable plastic items and inspire people to find other solutions. Here at the Co-op we support reusable containers and we make it easy to live a plastic-free life, if you choose.

The biggest impact will be made by buying in bulk! Bring in your own clean containers from home to fill with food, herbs, tea, supplements, laundry soap, hair & body care products, and bulk supplements from the Wellness department. Please weigh your containers before filling; you can do that here at the Co-op.

If you need containers we have glass canning jars and bottles of several different sizes, and various small jars in the Wellness department. For Whalebird Kombucha fans (and that's all of you, right?), we sell their growlers that you can refill here at the Co-op. We have Hydro Flask insulated stainless steel bottles as well as reusable -- and beautiful! -- Glass Drinking Straws (see photo) for you and your family.  And of course, we have reusable Co+op bags so you can tote all these good things home!
Co-op Board Meetings: You're Invited
We encourage Co-op Member-Owners to attend the monthly Co-op Board Meetings, now being held on the first Thursday after the 18th of each month. Each meeting opens with a public comment period so if you would like to speak, please arrive a few minutes early. Meetings begin at 5:30 PM and are now being held at the SLO County Builders Exchange (address and map below).

We hope you will come and get to know your Board and learn about your Co-op's doings and plans for the future. This is a great way to be informed, share your ideas, and get involved.
If you are interested in serving, you may download an application via the link on this page. If you have any questions, please call or come by the Co-op.

Next Board Meeting:
Thursday, July 20 at 5:30 PM
