Dear classic car enthusiast,
In the middle of the summer holiday season our area encountered a true heatwave forcing yours truly to test drive and photograph new arrived classic cars as early in the morning as possible. A refreshing time of day to enjoy your classic or sports car on inviting empty roads! The month of July also saw the firm of Lex Classics moving to a beautiful new location of which we made an extensive photo reportage. The company of Altena Classic Service became an official reseller of the renown vintage Suixtil mens driving clothes for which they furnished a neat shop in their showrooms.
Summer events: from August 2 until 4 you can visit the Schloss Dyck Classic Days in Germany. This beautiful event has grown to be one of the leading events on European soil. The tremendous 1923 'Eldridge' Fiat Mefistofele from the Fiat museum can be seen in action! From August 30 until September 1 you can visit the second Historic Grand Prix at Zandvoort the Netherlands. This special event on the famous dune circuit allows you to come close to the cars in the paddock and close to the action! Two weeks later the 20th Goodwood Revival will be held near Chichester, England. This most fantastic of all classic car events is almost sold out so be quick to secure one of the last Friday or Sunday tickets! Sincerely yours, Marc Vorgers. From July 1 Lex Classics has moved to a new location. The firm is now working from a beautiful modern and very spacious new company building in Waalwijk, The Netherlands. 24 hours after they openend the doors at the new location an extensive photo reportage has been made in the very early morning. The automobile was imported to The Netherlands in the year 1995. This matching numbers 2600 Sprint has been extensively restored retaining the original details and colours! This perfectly driving Alfa Romeo is in superb (excellent+) condition. Very hard to find in this magnificent near concours condition!

Lancia Augusta cabriolet by Pinin Farina, year 1938. Colour dark blue with a dark red leather interior. During world War 2 this Lancia was partly re-bodied by a Swiss bodywork specialist. The front section and the doors were beautifully re-styled. The last Swiss owner purchased the Lancia in the year 1979. The current owner bought the car from a classic car dealer in Switzerland. He had the car restored by a well known Lancia specialist in Switzerland from the year 2008 until 2010... Read more.
