A musical that tells the story of five Black women who come together to prepare for the burial of their matriarch. The show explores the history of Black women, form the Jim Crow era to the 1990's - the struggles, joys, and triumphs of being Black and a woman in America. It also discusses the history of African-American women and the bonds of family.
