TERM 4 - NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Following the feedback from Members and Students, the Alliance has updated its terms and conditions and has made them more generous towards students. For instance, the administration fees have been reduced from 20% to 10% for refunds. A very advantageous new rule now applies for students who wish to purchase 2 simultaneous courses within the same term: they receive 20% discount on the second course! You may wish to enrol in a regular course and in a speaking practice course as well! This gives students the opportunity to enrol for less in the speaking course for instance.

BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU
Thursday 15 November - 6.00 pm
At the stroke of midnight on the third Thursday of every November since 1985, France erupts in massive celebration in honour of the unveiling (or should we say uncorking) of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine. Beaujolais Nouveau, which is a young, light and fruity wine, comes from the South of Burgundy. France produces more than 60 million bottles of this wine every year but only 38 million of bottles stay in France while the rest of the production is distributed throughout the world. This is going to be a great night to celebrate life, wine, and a grand French tradition !
Tickets $40 - 3 glasses of wine, Wine presentation, French canapés, Art exhibition

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
Meli-Melo by the students of the Photography workshop
Opening night: Thursday 18 October - 6.00pm
A Meli-Melo is a mixed collection without specific order. In our case, it is a varied collection of images with the emphasis on the melodramatic. A dawn journey of individuals on the discovery path of expression in a rather opaque medium. Photography is indeed the most powerful language, but its fluency is complex and hidden from view. This is a part of the learning process from "L'atelier photographique"

CINE CLUB
Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas.
Friday 26 October - 5:30pm
Back from a holiday in Spain, Lili, 19, finds that Loïc, her twin brother, has left the house following a row with their father. She disapproves of her parents' apparently light attitude and is particularly shocked by her father's reluctance to even talk about the event. Lili desperately waits for a phone call from Loïc but her brother shows no sign of life. It is not long before Lili falls into depression and her condition quickly deteriorates. She won't eat anymore and is about to die when, at long last, a postcard written and sent by Loïc brings her back to life...
