I apologize for you folks getting some duplicate emails from me at ridiculous times. It sounds like there is a bug in the system. They are trying to figure it out.

Thank you for all of the words of encouragement last week. Whenever we deal with a complex issue, it is so nice for the staff to hear positive things from you. I appreciate you all taking the time to do so.

We have the Blood Drive going on today. Thank you to the Executive Leadership Committee, under Mr. Lienau's guidance, for putting it together.

Our 3 Day Phone Challange runs this week. It is meant to show kids that there is a certain kind of "freedom" that exists from electronic detaching. It is already providing lots of insight into our student's cell phone habits. One of the most interesting things we have seen today is that 9th and 10th graders are far, far, more willing to part with their phones than 11th and 12th graders. Is that because the older kids have more responsibilities and therefore need their phones or is it because the older you get, the more attached you are to the phone? I'm sure there are many reasons why we are seeing the difference in participation. If you can think of other reasons, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

School is normal Monday - Wednesday. Thanksgiving is Thursday and Black Friday is this Friday.
