Notices have been sent out to all Residence regarding the legal obligation to ensure private powerlines and poles do not cause a fire or other hazards.

Some residence will have received a directive from EA informing them that certain clearing around lines etc must be undertaken within 21 days. Information regarding your obligations, and which lines are your responsibility and which are EA's can be found in the leaflet below

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

 

WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE NAVY THAT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER, THERE WILL BE UNMARKED NAVY DIVERS IN THE VICINITY BETWEEN TAYLOR'S POINT & LONG NOSE POINT UNTIL THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER BOTH DAY AND NIGHT, EXCLUDING THE WEEKEND.

 

THE DIVERS WILL BE SUPPORTED BY 3 BOATS A WHITE STEBER & 2 SMALL BLACK ZODIACS FORMING A TRIANGLE.  IT IS REQUESTED SHOULD YOU ENCOUNTER THESE BOATS THAT YOU DO NOT PASS BETWEEN THE BOATS BUT PASS ASTERN OF THE LAST ZODIAC.
