Today, January 2nd, is a day I have waited almost a lifetime for. It's not my birthday, or my anniversary, and no, I didnt win the lottery today, but I sure feel like I did! Today, my beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons are playing football in the BSC ORANGE BOWL!!! Forecasted as always, to reside in the basement of their ACC division, WFU, the team everyone wants to play for Homecoming, has fought and clawed their way, against all odds, to an ACC championship, and a bid in one of the biggest bowl games of the year! So thanks to the miracle of a sending delay, you are receiving this email today, but I am no where in sight. I'm with the rest of the "Tie-Dye Nation", celebrating one of the best surprises ever! Go DEACS!!

A Cool Place to Shop!-Angels Around the World
You probably don't know this, but I like to collect angels. All kinds, all types, all styles! And here's a great place to find some really unique ones! It's called Angels Around the World, and it features charming, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted angels from the studio of quilt artist, Sarah Mallery. One of my favorite things about her site, is that you can "design your own angel". You can choose your angel's skin color, head scarf design and outfit colors. Check it out!

Monthly Trivia- January 2nd is certainly not a treasure trove of trivia, but I did find a few things worth mentioning for today.
January 2nd is, (and I swear I am not making this up), "Happy Mew Year for Cat's day, a day for felines everywhere, to celebrate the "mewness" of a New year. It's also "Z" day, to give recognition to all persons & places whose names begin with the letter Z, & who are always listed or thought of last in any alphabetized list.
Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. celebrates his 38th birthday today, as does Jim Bakker, the former TV evangelist, and if today is also your birthday, that's SUPER! Here's a great big StudioKat Designs Happy Birthday to ya! And if today is not your birthday, you can celebrate today anyway, by cruising around in a Camaro Z-28, or by listening to a little ZZ Top. And if you happen to watch the Orange Bowl tonight, check out row "Z" of the upper deck. If you see a little pin head with a yellow wig screaming her lungs out, that just might be ME!! GO DEACS!!
