Savoy owners and philanthropists, Chuck Sanders and his wife, Elisa, have announced a new platform to execute their charity mission: SAVOY SERVING the FUTURE (SSF) Initiative. The first campaign under the SSF Initiative entitled, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, provides an opportunity for Savoy patrons to enjoy an elegant atmosphere and fine cuisine, and support initiatives that enrich the community. A celebrity will be a guest host and bartender. Partial proceeds from a designated drink and dessert for the evening will be donated to a local or national non-profit organization.

Mr. Sanders says, "I am excited that Sheryl Lee Ralph, the original Broadway Dream Girl, will be Savoy's first Guest Who's Coming to Dinner. This is more than a chance for visitors to dine with celebrities; this grants SAVOY and its patrons the opportunity to serve the future."

The first Guess Who's Coming to Dinner evening will support The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's jazz festival, Pittsburgh Jazzlive International. Savoy was a generous sponsor for the festival this past June, and will support the June 2012 festival through this initiative.

Janis Burley Wilson, VP of Education and Director of Jazz Programs for the Trust, is "honored to have the Savoy as a partner in bringing the Pittsburgh JazzLive International festival to life. The Trust presents Broadway and jazz, so it's a perfect fit! The Savoy family, and the Trust share the same vision; to improve the quality of life in the city of Pittsburgh". Award-winning jazz trumpeter, Sean Jones, will join Ms. Ralph behind the bar, serving drinks to support the festival. Jones played an integral role in the development of festival with Burley Wilson.
