Council Member Vacancy
Huntsville Town is accepting applications to fill a Council Member vacancy. The appointment will be to fill the remianing 9 months of a Council Member term. The proposed Council Member must live within Huntsville Town boundaries and be a fulltime Huntsville Town resident.  Interest persons can mail/email resume's or letters of interest to Huntsville Town Attn: Mayor James A. Truett, P.O. Box 267, Huntsville Town, UT 84317 or mayor@huntsvilletown.com. Appointment to the Council Member position will take place on April 18th, 2019, 7 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall, located at 7309 E. 200 S. Huntsville, UT. Deadline for resume's, emails, orletters of interest are due by April 15th, 2019.

We would like to thank Bill White for all of his service to the Town. He has put in numberous hours of service on the Planning Commission, Water Committee and Town Council on behalf of the citizens of Huntsville. We hve benefited greatly from his generousity. His letter of resignation is attached. 
 
Power Interruption Notice
Just a reminder that Rocky Mountain Power is working on the electrical system today, Friday, March 29th, 2019 in our area. They need to interrupt the power supply to our area between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thank you for your patience.
 
Free Wood Chips
Rocky Mtn. Power will be going through Town doing vegetation management
for the next 3 months. If you are interested in receiving free wood chips
please call Jon @ 385-239-8220. 
 
Weber County Commission Meeting
The Weber County Commission Meeting will be held at the Huntsville Town Hall on April 30th at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
 
 
Open Burn Season
Open Burn Season starts on March 31st and ends on May 30th. Please see attached handout for guidelines.

Park and Pavillion Reservations
We are now taking park and pavillion reservations. Pavillions are available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a fee of $40 for current Valley residents or $65 for non residents. Please contact Beckki at 801-745-3420 for reservations. 
 
Town Council Meeting
Town Council Meeting has been cancelled for April 4, 2019. The notice is attached. The next Town Council Meeting is April 18, 2019. The next Planning Commission meeting is April 25, 2019, 7 p.m. at Huntsville Town Hall. A public hearing will be held on boundary line adjustments regulations.
