Broken Hill Art Exchange is a not-for-profit Art Consultancy dedicated to building the creative arts industries of Broken Hill and Western NSW for whole-of-community prosperity and cultural development. The concept of ‘Exchange’ involves the facilitation and creation of partnerships and linkages between local stakeholders and visiting artists, researchers, academics and tertiary institutions. The Art Exchange has an artist residency program for visiting artists wishing to pursue their practice, create educational opportunities and share their skills to build capacity in the creative industries in the Broken Hill region.  Local Artists are invited to become members to access employment, participate in or conduct multi-arts workshops or benefit from our growing network.

Food For Thought
BH Art Exchange is privledged to introduce the Food For Thought Initiative
This Sydney based arts organisation's project is about Public Engagement with the residents of Broken Hill. Residents will be invited to comment on a question posed to them in return for a cup of soup.  Hence Food For Thought.
The Art Exchange is searching for the "GOLDEN QUESTION"

So we decided to ask you...

"If you could ask the 19,000 residents of Broken Hill one question, what would it be?"

Both locals and our out of town readers are welcome to respond.

Look out for our drop boxes around Broken Hill or alternatively email your responses to: info@brokenhillartexchange.org.au

Please include your age and gender in your mail. All responses will be treated as anonymous. Your question may be chosen as the Golden Question. Look out for FOOD FOR THOUGHT in your neighbourhood early March.
