Hello Firstname

Wednesday 6 March

Chris' website - click here

Next Wednesday we welcome Chris Palmer FRPS EFIAP DPAGB APAGB who will be presenting his talk called Beyond the Summit.
The talk will explain how Chris considers a Fellowship of the RPS to be a Photographers Everest and since achieving that Distinction, he has asked himself the question "what should I do next". The pictures we will see have all been taken since the Fellowship which explains the title of the talk. Basically a Landscape photographer, Chris will display pictures from many locations, some street photography, some experimental work and other styles of photography.

Programme Changes
Mar 13 - Chris Pocock, his talk is shown as TBA, it now has a title - WHY?

Apr 3 - Janet Miles is to be replaced by Jason Ingram with a talk entitled Gardens through the Lens
Illustrated by his beautiful photographs taken through the seasons, Jason will discuss how he captures the spirit of a garden in wide and macro detail, understanding the light and how to control it. Technical tips and tricks will be revealed as he uncovers his working practice.
He will also discuss how he works with Editors to capture a garden for a magazine feature, the important images that work to tell the story and how the design elements within the garden are revealed.

Trumpet Blower's Corner
Salon acceptances: BPS photographers are now achieving large numbers of salon acceptances and constraints on time and space mean we can't include them all. So please only advise of awards or other milestones.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not possess psychic powers and need you to tell me if you've had successes. If you want to blow your own trumpet (or someone else's), then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include details in a future issue.
