Get ready for a very Grumpy Christmas! Palm Oaks Entertainment is excited to announce the release of the soundtrack for GRUMPY CAT’S WORST CHRISTMAS EVER, a Lifetime Original Movie featuring the famously frowny feline (voiced by AUBREY PLAZA). The film debuts on Lifetime on Saturday, November 29th at 8/7c, and the soundtrack is available for pre-order today on iTunes. Each purchase comes with an instant download of “It’s Hard to Be a Cat at Christmas.”  The soundtrack features holiday favorites from The Brian Setzer Orchestra, The Bird and the Bee, KT Tunstall, Chris Mann, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and two original songs, “A Very Grumpy Christmas” and “Worst Time of the Year.”  The physical version of the soundtrack, which will include an exclusive movie poster and Grumpy Cat bumper sticker, will be available in retail outlets nationwide on November 11^th.

 

Grumpy Cat is an Internet sensation, best selling author, and now the star of her own Lifetime Christmas movie that the press has proclaimed “defines the pop culture of a generation.”  Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever is a live-action movie that follows the infamous Grumpy Cat and her sour outlook on the holidays.  Grumpy Cat lives in a shopping mall pet shop, and is the cat that never gets bought or adopted, until an unpopular 12-year-old girl named Chyrstal falls in love with the cat.   The two develop a unique friendship because Chyrstal is the only one who can hear Grumpy talk.   Ultimately, Grumpy Cat has to thwart a kidnapping of an expensive exotic dog she can’t stand and rescue Chyrstal after the mall closes at Christmas.  In this irreverent comedy, will Grumpy Cat learn the true meaning of Christmas, or will it be in Grumpy’s words: “Worst. Christmas. Ever.”
