Hello Friends:
It has been a while since our last update. Since then the sheer volume of projects the studio has completed and released is way to long to ramble on about in a single newsletter. Here are a few highlights. If you are interested please explore the rest on our website.
Miya-San Tribute Figure
Here is a short video we put together to show off our collaboration with Martin Hsu
https://vimeo.com/85311822. Hayao Miyazaki is a legendary Japanese director, artist and cinematic visionary. Miyazaki's filmography spans decades and features such iconic films as “Princess Mononoke”, “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Spirited Away”, and “Ponyo” among many, many others. To celebrate the joy that Miyazaki has brought into our lives, we teamed up with Martin Hsu to create and produce a limited run of Miya-San figures. The figures will ship in April, and you can see some images of the model and paint samples here:
Mouse Trap/Elefun and Friends
We love working with our friends at Hasbro. We were asked to develop new packaging illustration, game boards, and various character renderings for the very popular "Elefun and Friends " preschool toy and game brand. Here are the results, the game is currently on the shelves. The various renderings are being used in POP displays and marketing materials throughout brand presentations, and store displays worldwide.
Mood Palmer Figure by Superdeux
Our friend and frequent collaborator Superdeux asked us to refine the “Moody” character we did for him a few years back and produce it as a limited edition vinyl figure. The results are super fun and very colorful.
Blizzard Entertainment Exclusive Figures
We worked closely with Blizzard Entertainment, and Happy Worker Toys to create these incredible "Cute But Deadly" character sculpts for BlizzCon. BlizzCon is an online gaming convention put on by Blizzard, which took place November 8th & 9th in Anaheim, CA. The figures were a huge hit with fans and collectors alike.

Facebook “Likes”
It occurred to us that the world needs some better visual ways to share our feelings on social media, so we created alternative "Like" icons in the style of the traditional Facebook thumbs-up icon. The more we designed, the more ideas we had. We now offer a full collection of over a dozen different downloadable icons to suit your every mood and response. Download and use at your discretion! Lucy and the Anvil Kickstarter Project
We got to design a great anvil character. Which was shipped out as an incentive for backers of the Kickstarter-funded book project: "Lucy and the Anvil." The book is a collaboration between Adam Kline and Brian Taylor.

Frank Kozik
Over the past year we had the unique opportunity to collaborate on a number of amazing, and pretty hilarious projects with Frank Kozik. Franks unique style and take on character design always opens the door to fun new surprises.
Some of the Characters and figures are currently in various stages of manufacturing in The United States, China, and Japan.
