REBELLION 2022 UPDATE
Welcome to our Spring 2022 Rebellion newsletter. Firstly, we hope that you are all safe and well. The world continues to be in turmoil so it’s more important than ever to appreciate the people that matter to you and be kind to one another. I know many of you are doing what you can to support those less fortunate and that’s the great thing about the punk community. We might not be able to change the world anymore, but we CAN make a difference.
 
2022 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for returning to live music and Rebellion is going to be bigger and better than ever! Read on for news on line ups, outdoor stages, the new conference centre and CHEAPER TICKETS ENDING SOON!!!

INTRODUCING R-FEST – Our Outdoor Stage
We’re proud to launch a brand-new festival “R-FEST”. This is running on the same weekend as Rebellion on the Promenade.
 
Slap bang in front of BLACKPOOL TOWER, directly down from the Winter Gardens, we are building an arena with the sea on oneside and the town on the other. We've got capacity for 15,000, bars, food, merch and a fantastic line up.
 
The good news is that if you have a REBELLION weekend or day ticket then you can get in to this festival FREE OF CHARGE. Think of it as just another stage for Rebellion.
 
However, if you weren’t planning on coming for the full Rebellion Festival this year or know someone who might just fancy a certain band playing out here, then R-FEST DAY TICKETS are available as a stand-alone event. The line-up for the outside stage is:

THE NEW CONFERENCE CENTRE
Regulars will notice some amazing changes to the Winter Gardens this year. The new Conference Centre is open and we’ve seen it, walked around, measured it, taken photos and can honestly say that it’s stunning. It’s given us a new space and PUNK ART will be moving there plus we will be able to stage a full programme LITERARY FESTIVAL.

We’re planning on using the Conference Centre entrance as the MAIN ENTRANCE this year and that is where WRISTBAND EXCHANGE will be too. We will update you all nearer the time on where to go and how this will work but the changes to the venue should make moving around the building easier and with more people it should still feel less cluttered and give us all a bit more space.

LINE UP
We can’t wait to catch up with old friends, make new ones and hang out again but ultimately it’s the line up that counts and we can honestly say that this is the best year ever. All the big names that you expect are there, loads of up-and-coming bands that are causing a fuss on the circuit are booked, over 50 bands NEW to Rebellion (so anyone saying same old same old needs to have a word with themselves!) plus with many of the R-FEST additions we’ve cast our net a bit wider whilst still fitting in with the Rebellion Ethos.
