Due to battlefield injuries sustained as a civilian in a war zone 12 years ago, I am severely disabled, walking with two canes with herniated disks in my lumbar spine, a pinched sciatic nerve that causes excruciating pain, and I am in a process of growing cartilage under both kneecaps. I must wear a Medical Guardian call pendant to summon help when I fall because I live alone. It is shockingly outrageous that I could be forced by the law into the streets in January where I can easily slip and fall in the rain, ice, and snow of NW Washington where I live on the British Columbia, Canada border!
For the past 5 years I've really been struggling, and the Whatcom County Assessor is criminally ignoring my age (66) and my State issued Handicapped Parking Placard and ID Card which clearly indicates that I'm severely disabled. I wear a Medical Guardian call button in case I fall so I can summon help because I live alone. I need two strong people to get back to my feet if I fall.
I'm being threatened with Foreclosure unless I pay another $2100. at the end of December, and more after that until I'm caught up on back Property Taxes.I hope to fight this legally, but have not been able to get a call back from legal aid. Normally the County Assessor would give a full or partial REPRIEVE on paying property taxes if a person is 65 or older and DISABLED. Despite having a Handicapped Parking Placard issued by the State of Washington for which I had to supply a Doctors letter and copy of my MRI, the Whatcom County Assessor is violating her oath and breaking the law by wrongly ignoring all of this! I'm not able to get Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Disablity, Food Stamps, or any other kind of public assistance from the FEDSTAPO due to the certified letter I sent with return receipt requested to the IRS years ago in which I cited the Freedom of Information Act to demand a copy of My IRS Master File, and I successfully challenged their jurisdiction!
Unless I get enough support bythe end of December, I could be dead soon because unless I can keep Whatcom County from foreclosing on my House and throwing me into the street, with my level of Disability, and my age, Foreclosure could be a Death Sentence. I live right on the British Columbia border.

Eleven years ago I was almost killed as a civilian in a war zone, a hole saved my life when I was running from the Bangsamoro Liberartion Front and the Abu Sayaf, Muslim Separatists that were in a battle with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Bullets parted my hair as I tripped in the hole and went down hard. The hardest thing I've ever done was to bite my tongue and not writhe in pain and cry out. I forced myself to stay still envisioning a guerilla looking through a scope to decide whether or not more bullets were needed to finish me off. After an hour of intense suffering, a man risked his life to get me off the battlefield and out of the jungle back to the airport in Davao from which I got out of Dodge.
My inability to walk without canes did not come immediately, up until five years ago I could still walk despite the pain, but had to start using canes. I've been doing all in my power to heal and to grow new cartilage, but unless I can sell enough sulfur and other detox supplements, and get enough donations needed to forestall Foreclosure by paying the County $2,194.43 (out of the $7,673.15 owed for 3 years of Property Taxes, Foreclosure proceedings will be initiated and I will become homeless.
