TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index extended its gains, adding 1.18% today to close at 92,628. Engineering Services (+4.35%) led risers among sectors, while Rubber & Plastics (-1.62%) was the weakest. Base Metals (+2.49%) posted the highest daily trade volume, with IRR 460 billion (approx. USD 11 million) in trades. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index today were Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +4.15%), Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA +4.75%) and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Co. (PTAP +4.03%). Hi Web Co. (HWEB +3.93%) recorded the highest trade volume, with IRR 350 billion (approx. USD 8.3 million) of shares traded. The market’s total traded value slipped 0.6% to IRR 3,113 billion (approx. USD 74 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization also closed higher, ending 1.85% up at 3,997. Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Co. (CHML +4.96%) was the biggest gainer while Fajr Petrochemical Co. (BFJR -1.53%) saw the largest decline. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks rose 80.4% to close at IRR 1,317 billion (approx. USD 31.3 million), lifted by higher volumes in Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA +4.75%), Iran Khodro (IKCO +3.60%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +4.15%). |
