There’s not many bands, if any, that have a stronger following and cult status in Sweden and the Nordic countries, as the excentric band - bob hund. Formed in 1991, debuted in 1993, they have never rested, gaining praise inside of the nordics. But their energy has also spread to europé where Graham Coxon, ex blur, has recorded cover versions af their tracks etc.
This spring they are releasing their ninth studio album called "0-100” the first one on label Adrian Recordings (Alice Boman, This Is Head, Hey Elbow and many more). I’t a new start. Time moves in circles and it’s just as much a look backwards to the time when they did music as if their lives was literally depending on noise and confusion, as a look in the future. bob hund never sleeps.
Today the 22nd of March they are releasing the first singel from upcoming album. It is called ”Vi är såå lyckliga som bara olyckliga människor kan bli” (We are so happy as only unhappy people can be). It’s the result of 6 misfits that don’t fit in anywhere but just perfectly fit together.
The new album is out the 10th of May and today we are also announcing 27 live dates around Scandinavia:
