Transition From Spring To Summer Jewellery

Dulux’s Colour Of 2025
The transition from spring to summer is a celebration of nature. A time to play with colour and experiment with bold designs. This seasonal shift is the perfect opportunity to refresh your collection and welcome sun’s energy. As the seasons change from soft blossoming hues of spring, to radiant sun-drenched tones of summer – jewellery also undergoes a transformation. This shift isn’t just about colour. It’s about mood, energy, and how jewellery complements the rhythms of the season.

Designs tend to be more relaxed, free-spirited. Incorporating asymmetry, colour blocking and eclectic layers. Combine light spring necklaces with bold summer pendants to transition your look. Mix cool stones like amazonite, with warm ones like citrine for a seasonal vibe. Use beads that echo summer’s natural tones—ocean blues, sandy neutrals, and sunset oranges.

Transitional Trends: Bridging the Seasons
The shift from spring to summer is an ideal time to blend softness with vibrancy. Look for:

Summer: Bold, Vibrant, and Radiant
As we move into summer, everything gets brighter and more expressive.

Blue Beads Are Popular

As we say in Norfolk, blue is ‘bootiful’! There’s lots of blue in Norfolk. It’s not by chance we sell more blue beads than others. Everyone loves blue.

The sky and the sea is blue when at its best. The colour represents freedom, open space, creativity, inspiration, trust, loyalty, confidence, sincerity and sex. The colour of the spirit, bringing rest and tranquillity – with religious meaning, believed to repel bad spirits. Blue clothes with jewellery to match is the dress of successes – look at stars and the super-rich. A cooling colour of intuition, confidence and intellect that is said to balance the mind and body. Electric blue is dramatic and exhilaration.

Blue portrays importance and confidence. ‘The Boys in Blue’: British police officers, and ‘corporate blue’ pinstripe suits. Representing conservative stability. Royal blue is for respect and superiority. Blue means trust and wisdom.

Mr & Mrs Bead’s Malta Trip

See the online newsletter for many pictures. It was tirst time we flew from Norwich. Smallest airport we’ve ever been to. Malta was busy and very-British, with red pilled boxes & red phone boxes everywhere. Despite 50-years of independence.

However, a week was long, despite staying in four locations – including a night on Gozo, Malta’s little sister island. Where we hired a car, but not much to drive to! We had loads of seafood, although didn’t taste as fresh as it looks in the pictures. However, it was sun everyday, and always good to get away.
