Dear classic car enthusiast,
This weekend autumn slides in-to our Northern region and I just learned that a short Indian summer is expected in our part of Western Europe next week! I hope you enjoyed the summer holidays, the classic car passion, and the gorgeous Goodwood Revival last weekend. For me this edition was the coldest and wettest Revival so far but, oh boy, wasn't it fantastic again! If you have not yet visited this magnificent event be sure to be there in 2014!
The past six weeks yours truly tested and photographed fifteen beautiful classic cars for sale of which twelve are presented in todays newsletter. Austin Healey Sprite Mk 1 'Frog Eye', year 1959. Colour light yellow with a black interior. This fantastic 'Frog Eye' sports a fantastic restored body and the car is in very good to excellent condition. The car is fitted with the original engine and gearbox. The engine was given mechanical improvements like new piston rings, new bearings, new oil seals, new rockers etc. A high torque starter engine, electric cooling fan and new ignition were installed under the bonnet.

Austin Healey 3000 Mk III phase 2, year 1965. Colour Ice blue metallic with a dark blue interior and a blue mohair soft top. This fantastic 'Big Healey' was extensively and professionally restored in the late 1990'ies. The automobile is in excellent condition and the bodywork shows very crisp lines! The Austin Healey was imported from the USA in 1994. Then it was restored at Brooklands classic cars. Invoices are present.

Austin Healey 3000 Mk III phase 2, year 1967. Colour Ice blue metallic over crème white. Blue leather interior, blue mohair soft top, tonneau cover and hood cover. This tremendous Austin Healey was extensively restored in the past, the automobile is in excellent condition with some traces of use. The engine was modified to run on lead-free petrol and an aluminium rocker cover was added. Read more.

This tremendous Jaguar E-type was sold new to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. In the 1990'ies the automobile was sold to Denmark where the car was extensively restored.
