Cathedral Service 2017
The Tercentenary Cathedral Service will be held in St David's Cathedral on Sunday 2nd July 2017. The Provincial Grand Master asks for your support at this most special of occasions. The PrGM requests that you make a note in your diaries now, to keep the day free.
 
For Freemasons, for families, for everyone. Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.

Provincial Appointments and Promotions
This year's lists of Appointments and Promotions have been published. The full list of Craft Appointments and Promotions can be found here and the Royal Arch list can be found here.

The Brethren and Companions concerned will be invested with their appointments and promotions at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter which take place on Thursday 6th July 2017 at the University of Trinity St David in Carmarthen.
 
West Wales gives £150K to Celebrate UGLE Tercentenary
"Local charities from across West Wales will be sharing £150,000 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of UGLE.

The grants range from £600 - £10,000, and will include the announcement of the West Wales nominations for the England and Wales Community Awards. These four charities will divide £50,000 between them, but the size of the individual awards will depend on a public vote."

MCF Donates £100k to the East Africa Food Crisis Appeal
Across Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan and Somalia, over 20 million people are on the brink of starvation. The Masonic Charitable Foundation has been among the first to respond, making an emergency grant of £100,000 to Plan International.
 
Drought, disease, conflict and displacement in the region have led to the first declaration of famine anywhere in the world in over six years and the UN has warned that the world is now facing the largest humanitarian crisis since 1945. Read the full story here.

The final meeting of this masonic year will take place at Derllys Court Golf Club on Friday 5th, May 2017 - Tee off 10.00—12.00. Full details here.
