New Provincial Grand Master in West Wales
|
At the Installation meeting of the Kensington Lodge of Installed Masters on Friday 14th March 2014, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Eric Mock announced his impending retirement. RW Bro Eric has served the Province with distinction for the last 13 years, as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Provincial Grand Master and we all wish him a long and happy retirement.
RW Bro Eric announced that the MW Grand Master, His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, has been pleased to appoint W Bro Stephen D Hookey as his successor. His installation as Provincial Grand Master & Provincial Grand Superintendent will take place at the annual Provincial Grand Lodge and Chapter meetings on Thursday 3rd July 2014.
W Bro Hookey announced that he intends to appoint VW Bro. Brian Hilling as Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W Bro. Lionel C Hughes as Assistant Provincial Grand Master and E Comp Rev J Keith Davies as Deputy Grand Superintentdent. All other Provincial Appointments will remain as issued in February.

Provincial Appointments and Promotions
|
This year's lists of Appointments and Promotions have been published. You can read the full Craft list here and the full Royal Arch list here. The Brethren and Companions concerned will be invested with their appointments and promotions at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter which take place on Thursday 3rd July 2014 at the University of Trinity St David in Carmarthen. This meeting will also include W Bro Steve Hookey being Installed as Provincial Grand Master of the Province of West Wales in the Craft and Grand Superinitendent in and over the Province of West Wales in the Royal Arch.
Please make a determined effort to attend the meeting. Actually, why not make up a party of your Chapter or Lodge Members, and come in numbers? In doing so you will be supporting your new Rulers; your Chapter or Lodge and also those Companions and Brethren who will be invested with their Provincial Appointments and Promotions. It promises to be a very special day for West Wales.
