In The News...

Hippity Hop over to Lori's Dayton Daily News articles:

I just got done helping another company prepare for their move to a new location. The staff worked together making decisions on what to keep and what should go. As a result, they got rid of a ton of stuff then organized their work spaces and common areas. They are not only prepared to move, but are working more efficiently in the space they are currently in.

Each time I see so much progress and organization I think, “All companies should pretend like they are moving to another location.” After following through with your pretend move you will probably notice improved productivity, creativity and a boost in morale.

Gather your staff together and make a plan to move without actually moving.

No More Stale Chips...

Ever open your pantry and find bags of chips opened without a chip clip? If this happens in your household, be proactive about getting those chip bags closed once they are opened. Purchase a supply of wooden clothespins. When you buy bags of chips, put the clothespin on the bags before they are opened the first time.

Whoever comes along to enjoy some chips will have no excuse not to close the bag when they are finished.

One More Thing...

According to an IKEA survey, 31% of the customers surveyed reported they were more satisfied after cleaning out their closets than they were after sex.

As I’ve said all along…organizing can be satisfying smiley
