Hello Firstname
Wednesday 31 October
This Wednesday sees a visit by George Reekie BPE5*, from Taunton. His talk is entitled "Wild About Nature" and he will be showing us projected images from as far afield as Japan and as near as Norton Fitzwarren. George was the top exhibitor in this year's Bristol Salon with 11 of his 12 entries being accepted, so he is obviously a photographer of some note!

St Peter's Hospice - Walk To Remember
A couple of weeks ago, as part of our continued links with St Peter's Hospice, several members of the Society went along to Ashton Court to photograph the annual St Peter's Hospice "Walk to Remember". The following is an extract from an email I have received from the Hospice:

"Can I also take the opportunity to thank you once again for the support you have given us at recent events. The images from the recent Walk to Remember at Ashton Court are some of the best we’ve ever had from the event – so thank you again.
Kindest regards
Matthew Bell
St Peter's Hospice"

Thanks should go to the four members who provided the images, Danny & Beryl Heaton, Nicola Williams and Andrew Wood and to Neil McCoubrey for coordinating the day on the BPS front. Images from the event are on St Peter's facebook page and can be viewed by following this link.
