If your school offers a lunch program, tape the lunch menu on the inside of the lower kitchen cabinet for younger children to see. Children, who can read, can make their decisions about packing or buying each day. Every step towards independence keeps parents from doing everything.

The first step to organizing your home office is to separate your business and personal papers. Too many times people mix the two and find it difficult to locate what they need. Once paperwork is separated, create file drawers dedicated to each category. This makes it easier to switch gears when working on business tasks at home.
