Update on the fallen tree over power cables above Bell wharf.
Power has resumed to all but 10 homes on the island - all are in the vasicinity of Bell wharf.
The tree has been cut down but is still across the road and the mains power lines have only been temporaily fixed.
Further repair works will be necessary and will these resume tomorrow, so power will be cut off for at least an hour or so tomorrow.
The ferry is dropping off and picking up at Bell, but passengers need to be carefull using the steps and the road leading to them.
Childeren need to be especially careful tomorrow morning.
