Parents and young people needed for discussion group on heart surgery
We need parents and young people to join our study and help us better understand what impact heart surgery has had on you or your child and family.
We are organising a discussion group for young people (15 - 18 years) and one for adults and parents in our office in London. This will involve you attending a group of around 10 other parents or young people and answering questions about yours and/or your child's experiences with heart conditions.
Following the focus group meeting lunch will be provided for everyone and the young people are invited to participate in a funky graffiti workshop organised by Graffiti Life in Shoreditch from 2pm to 3.30pm.
The first focus group meeting for young people and adults will be held on:
- Saturday the 1st of March 2014 from 11am-1pm at the Children's Heart Federation Office in London.
Further focus group meetings for adults will be held in:
- Birmingham: Saturday the 29 of March 2014, 11:30am-1:30pm, Ibis Birmingham City Centre
- Glasgow: Saturday the 12th of April 2014, 11:30am -1:30pm, Mercure Hotel
If you do decide to attend we can help with the reimbursement of travel costs and childcare.
