Berner, a cannabis hip hop artist did a great profile of Reef Dispensary and cannabis in Nevada. High Times has continued to snub Nevada by focusing on California and Colorado. I know we will see more videos online and national media covering some of the incredible flower and products Nevada is producing. Currently, Nevada is on the trajectory to provide cannabis products and service of a superior caliber, meeting demand as it increases when Question 2 passes.

Denver’s department of environmental health has a cannabis specific newsletter that may be helpful for Nevada cultivation and production facilities reducing their energy consumption. One of the arguments used against the cannabis industry is the amount of energy used to create cannabis along with its’ carbon footprint. Some of the carbon footprint has to do with the difficulty in cultivating it outdoors in some markets.

Senator Segerblom has stated that the cannabis industry has to start promoting IP1 in March. Please connect / contribute to the campaign to regulate marijuana like alcohol.

***Upcoming May 11th & 12th Reno & Las Vegas Marijuana Summit
My fear is this summit will contribute misinformation that will not be to the benefit of the cannabis industry or community. The last one was filled with “Reefer Madness” and misinformation. A few doctors walked out at the last one or maybe a few of you attended the last one and want to commensurate about our shared experience.
One of the speakers was recently on KNPR and spun the biggest piece of misinformation about cannabis, Dr. Pohl. Listen to it below. We need to fight back with facts against unbalanced arguments against cannabis.

They are instrumental in the Nevada marijuana community by informing patients, future patients, and out of town guests who are cannabis patients.
