TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index closed up 2.03% at 104,533 today. The top performing sector of the day was Metallic Ores (+7.29%), boosted by Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (CHML +16.47%) and Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +4.93%). Construction (-2.67%) was the weakest sector with almost all its constituents losing ground. The highest trading volume was posted by Base Metals (+2.46%) with IRR 1,356 billion (approx. USD 31.9 million) of shares exchanged. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index included Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (CHML +16.47%), Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +3.56%) and Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +4.93%). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +3.56%) was the most actively traded stock by value with volume of IRR 617 billion (approx. USD 14.5 million). Total market traded value added 29.5% from yesterday to IRR 7,109 billion (approx. USD 168 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed at 5,038, up 2.79% from yesterday. Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (CHML +16.47%) was the biggest gainer among the top 30s, while Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH -2.77%) fell the most. The total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 3,233 billion (approx. USD 76.2 million), up 32.8% from yesterday.
