Mackworth Club
Cross of Souls
On Monday 21st June the following representatives of the Mackworth Club: Chairman - W. Bro. Marc Bassett, Vice Chairman - Bro Rich Holmes and Social Secretary - W. Bro. John Trott, together with the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of West Wales - RW Bro James Ross attended the unveiling and Consecration of the ‘Cross of Souls’ at St. David’s Churchyard Cemetery in Carmarthen as Guests of the Chairman of the Trustees of The Thomas & Elizabeth Mayhook Charity.  For further pictures and the whole story click here. 
 
Mackworth Charity Walk 26th June 2021
On Saturday 26th June 2021, W Bro Keith Eckley led a crack team of "Mackworth Marchers" on a guided walk from Llanelli train station to his local pub, The Pemberton Arms in Burry Port. A distance of approximately 13km (just over 8 miles in old money). The Walkers were Tim McDermott, Matt Selby, Mark Bell-Davies and the PGM, James Ross. For further details click here.

West Wales Freemasons to become strategic partner of The Duke of Edinburgh's Awards
More than 30,000 young people with disabilities and special educational needs will be able to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, thanks to a grant of £300,000 from the Freemasons.
The Freemasons in West Wales have become a strategic partner of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE), funding a new national programme to upskill its team and volunteers. The programme will also help enrol more schools and clubs, to ensure all young people have access to DofE. For more details click here. 
 
Saint Padarn Meeting 21st June 2021
Saint Padarn Lodge are back meeting in the north of the West Wales Province for the first time since Feb 2020. They have a new Master Elect in place ready for a new season, with candidates in waiting, including Universities Scheme students patiently waiting to be initiated.
The sun is shining & the future is bright in Aberystwyth.
 
Tanyard Youth Project - Pembroke

On Tuesday 22nd June 2021, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro James Ross, accompanied by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Ryland James and the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W Bro Dirk den-Hartog finally had the opportunity to visit the Tanyard Youth Project in Pembroke. Tanyard received a total of £3377 for computer equipment which was jointly funded by the West Wales Grand Charity and the MCF.  For the full story click here.
