In 2009, three months after the passing of Michael Jackson, a series of unexplainable and unequivocal events compelled the author, Donna Massa-Chappee, to create "The Michael Jackson Series." This is a narrative of a true story of Donna's own personal experiences that led her to reveal the Untold Stories of Michael Jackson through illustration. The book also includes twelve hand-drawn illustrations using the Art Mediums: Prismacolor Pencils, soft pencil, pen & ink, and Chinese white watercolor. These Fine Art illustrations are accompanied by individual descriptions that explain in detail the man, the artist, his vision, and the importance of his legacy. In writing this book the Author/Illustrator Donna Massa-Chappee's intentions are to inform, inspire, and explain the mysteries of what was to come if Michael had lived, what he wanted us to know, and most importantly, to share the true meaning of his legacy with the world and the many generations to come.

Michael Jacobshagen Donates 5 Books...
Michael Jacobshagen, one of MDF's VIP pledgers, and author of the book "Will You Be My Friend", has graciously donated the sale of 5 copies of his book to benefit Michael's Dream Foundation!
As a child Michael Jacobshagen spent time on the move with Michael Jackson. He met him the first time in 1995 in Paris, the beginning of a friendship that stretched over many years. They visited the famous Circus Krone in Munich, stayed 1998 two weeks in that city, went shopping and spent private time together in hotel suites and elsewhere. When Michael Jackson roamed Europe on his legendary 1997 History Tour, he invited the 13 year old Michael Jacobshagen time and again to various cities his concerts took place in. Now, 16 years later, Michael Jacobshagen lets fans participate, and talks for the first time in detail about his marvelous experiences with Michael Jackson in a profoundly open and personal manner. Among the stories: how they became friends in Munich, played hide and seek, threw water balloons to the fans outside and went on shopping tours.

100% of the sales go to MDF to support our Hospital Project!

Weez's Corner
I bring you a wonderful recipe
for you to make and share this holiday season. Sweet Potato and chocolate pecan pie, yummm!

Makes a good size 9-12 inch pie.
Bottom filling
2 large cooked sweet potatoes prepared ahead of time. Mashed but not pureed. Seasoned with nutmeg, cinnamon. 1 egg and 1/4 cup of corn syrup or I use brown sugar.
Shortbread crust
2 cups flour
2 TBS sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup of shortening
Using index finger to thumbs, rub ingredients together until it resembles and feels like moist breadcrumbs, add more butter if needed.
Do not form a dough, leave as crumbs and place into a greased pie pan leveling off even and pressing down to cover sides and bottom.
NOW
Place the sweet potato mixture directly over the pie crust and add 1 cup of semi sweet choc chips chuncks over the top.
Pecan filling
4 eggs,
1 TPS vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups peacn halves
Mix all ingredients together and pour over the pie mixture.
You can decorate the top of the pie by making sure the pecans are in a design before baking.
Cook
Oven should be preheated at normal baking temp of 350°. Bake for 1.45 hour checking it every 15 minutes after the first hour of cooking.
Serve  hot or cool with fresh whipped cream.
Let me know if you try this recipe and how it all turned out. Send me pictures to louise.greer@michaelsdreamfoundation.org
