Dear
Friends,
Hours ago, in an article headlined "Huffman's November opponent still unknown,"
The Press Democrat reported that 25,350 ballots have not yet been counted in Sonoma County. Many of those ballots will determine whether Republican Dan Roberts or I will run against Jared Huffman in the general election.
Two and a half weeks after Election Day, I'm less than half a percent behind Roberts. And every vote must be counted. That's a core principle.
Our campaign's approach remains: "principle as strategy."

To everyone who has donated to our campaign's election protection work, I say
thank you so much. To those who can afford to do more at this crucial time, I say
please do.
By clicking here and making a contribution, you can fortify our election protection work before the vote count is completed.
Our campaign's election protection work continues to be arduous, time-consuming, costly. But with the margin in our race for Congress so close ("paper thin," the
Marin Independent Journal called it yesterday), we have a heightened responsibility to ensure that every vote is counted.
If you have just a couple of minutes now, you can
click here and make a donation.
If you have more than a couple of minutes now, you also might want to take a look at one of the videos below. They reprise our campaign's commitment to principle as strategy.
With appreciation,
Norman
