Hello Firstname

WCPF DPIC Competition
BPS took part in the annual WCPF DPIC (Digital Projected Image Competition) event at Exeter on Sunday 7 February. This is an inter-club competition in which clubs from across the WCPF region each submit 18 images, these are projected in front of a panel of three judges who award marks for each one, with clubs scoring the top marks being selected to represent WCPF at Warwick in the national Inter Club Projected Image Championship in July. This year's judges were Ian Ledgard EFIAP/s, MPSA, LRPS, AWPF; Peter Gennard MFIAP EFIAP/P and Brain Coleman AFIPA, AWPF.
Eight members of BPS braved the strong wind & rain to travel down the M5 for a 9.30am start, however all was was worth it because BPS finished in a very creditable 2nd place out of the 50+ clubs who entered. The final placings were:
  • 1st F8 (Taunton) - 222 points
  • 2nd= Bristol PS - 219 points
  • 2nd= Exmouth Photo Group - 219 points

Individual awards went to:
  • Val Duncan (Judge's Award)
  • Greg Duncan (Highly Commended)
  • Barry Mead (Highly Commended)
