TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index fell 1.52% to close at 155,710. Pharmaceuticals (+2.3%) was the leading sector while the biggest faller was Financial Markets Management (-3.6%). Chemicals (-1.88%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 2,006 billion (approx. USD 47 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -3.57%), Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co. (PKLJ -2.61%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -3.14%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Mellat Bank (BMLT +2.00%) was the most traded stock with volume of IRR 803 billion (approx. USD 19 million). Total traded value of the market reached IRR 12,029 billion (approx. USD 286 million), down 32% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed 2.08% down at 7,537. Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA -4.46%) led fallers while the leading stock was Iran Khodro Co. (IKCO +3.87%). Total traded value of the top 30s dropped 23% to IRR 4,385 billion (approx. USD 104 million). |
