Greetings to all you fanatees! The summer's here and the time is right for seeing what the Mightees are up to this month:
RANDY WAGNER BECOMES A GRANDFATHER! - It's true! Last week our Mighty Manatees bassist/vocalist Randy Wagner became a grandfather to beautiful twin girls. These two darlings are Randy's first grandchildren and all of us want to wish him, his daughter Jamie & her husband, our mighty congratulations. Randy's new nickname is now "Grandy" (nickname courtesy of Jozo).
ROOT DOWN CROSSTOWN - This Thursday evening, June 2, Grandy and I will bring our acoustic duo to Root Down Brewing
at 1 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. Showtime is 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
Note: we play here every other Thursday, so we will be back there on Thurs., June 16, and 30, as well.
Then three days later, on Sunday afternoon, June 5, our acoustic 5-piece (Grandy, Dean, Kathleen, Ted The Fiddler, and myself) move crosstown to the Root Down Biergarten at 425 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA. Showtime is 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Outside.

BRIDGEPORT CARNIVAL 2022 - Our 6-piece electric dance band will be performing outside at the annual Bridgeport Carnival in Bridgeport, PA, on Saturday night, June 25. Showtime is 6:00 to 10:00 PM. This is a free, all ages event.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE MONTH - This month's clip features a Mighty Manatees seven-piece super group with Jason Crosby on keyboards (face hidden by speaker cabinet), Chris DelSordo and Walter Tates Jr. on saxophones, Kathleen Weber on vocals, Jim Cavanaugh on drums, Randy Wagner on bass, and myself on guitar. It was filmed May 21, 2009, at the now-extinct Puck in Doylestown, PA. One of our best live albums was recorded at this show by Puck soundman Mike Lightkep.
