Thanks for the links and tips that keep coming in, much apriciated. Keep em' coming. Each one teach one as the saying goes.
I went to a party the other day, very well organised with loads of red wine coming in with all the plates but no water on the tables.
So what has this to do with Audio recording?
Nothing but two things.
Attention to detail is what makes things professional and sometimes you find the wrong's with your facility or recording if you judge it with an client/audience perspective.
