Both bands played this symphatetic festival before (Absolute Body Control 2013 & The Juggernauts 2012 & 2014) so it's with great please they will return on this edition! While Absolute Body Control a sort of ‘best of’ going trough their complete back catalogue, The Juggernauts will present their debuut album 'The Juggernauts Are Coming' for the very first time at this festival

"Belgian band The Juggernauts is the most important rejuvenators of the classic Electronic Body Music sound. The debut album “The Juggernauts Are Coming” features club-compatible tunes built on a minimalist foundation of beats, sequencer and shouts. Like the name-inspiring symbol for an unstoppable destructive force, the music of The Juggernauts blasts out of the speakers like an energetic stronghold of beats, bass and wrath. Few contemporary bands manage to channel the spirit of early EBM as brutally effective as the Belgian duo on its debut “The Juggernauts Are Coming.” Thudding drum machines and rumbling low frequencies accompany front man Borg while he shouts all the anger, cynicism and social criticism out of his system. While The Juggernauts share the spirit of bands like the early Front 242 or Nitzer Ebb, they never fall into the retro-trap, providing the prime father of underground dance music with a refreshingly harsh and modern approach. After the one-off complete indoor edition at different location in 2015, the Amphi Festival moved back to it's original location, the amphi theatre Tanzbrunnen.
With 44 artists playing on two days on two different stages and over 20.0000 visitors every year the Amphi Festival is one of the most renowned alternative Festivals in Germany.
This year Dive was invited to play their already 12th edition!

Ghost & Writer (Frank M. Spinath from Seabound/Edge Of Dawn and Jean Marc Lederman from The Weathermen) will make their live debut at our BodyBeats Night on Saturday August 13th! The live set will see them playing songs from their two albums "Shipwrecks" and "Red Flags", plus some audio surprises.
Our other band playing that night will be True Zebra, the solo project of Kevin Strauwen. Presenting his new album ' War of The Words'. With True Zebra he's transmuting an edgy alternative view into the electronic rock and dance scene with tight-grooves, industrial-esque rhythms & spookish melodies with a nerve.
