Lisa Reisman lives after surviving the diagnosis of a lethal brain tumor. She participated in a triatholon 10 years after she succesfully fought a glioblastoma multiforme 4, one of the deadliest of malignant brain tumors. Miracles abound in her story, from the moment her sister senses something is wrong from miles away, the irony of her stepmother saving her life, successful surgery and physical and emotional recovery. A 32-year-old disillusioned New York attorney, who just prior to the symptoms of her illness setting in, was on her way to hit the road in a lipstick-red convertible. In her book, "5 Months 10 years 2 Hours," author Lisa Reisman socks it to the reader. Her book is described as gripping, unflinching, revealing, honest and more so reader...be ready!
Lisa Reisman makes her home in Branford, CT and will be in Madison on April 14- Yale Program for the Humanities, May 2 at Breakwater Books in Guilford, CT and at the Wesleyan Writers Conference June10-14.
