Notre rando cette semaine commencera aux trois ponts du gouffre de Baatara à 1530 m d’altitude.
Marcher le long des vergers, se promener sur des sentiers de chèvres, traverser des cours d’eau seront de la partie durant la première partie de notre randonnée.
Une fois arrivés à l’église de Ramlieh une montée nous attend avant d’entamer notre descente à travers une foret dense jusqu’à l’auberge de Arz Ehmej a 1360 metres.

A prévoir :
Chaussures de marche, sac à dos, de l'eau, casse-croûte (sandwich, chocolat, fruits secs...), chapeau, pull polaire et coupe vent, Lampe de poche ou frontale, .
Le prix :
Le prix par personne est de 30$ (ou 45,000 L.L.), incluant le transport en bus, l'assurance et les guides.
Faisabilité :
Il faut être au minimum 15 inscrits pour que la sortie ait lieu.

Rassemblement 7h30 am.
près de l’urgence de l'hôpital du Sacré Cœur à Hazmieh. Pour y arriver prendre la bifurcation qui mène vers le palais présidentiel devant l'hypermarché Abou Khalil, ensuite prendre la première bifurcation à gauche en direction du Sacré Cœur. Soyez Ponctuel !

Dear Friends,
Our hike this week starts from the natural bridge of Baatara at1530m. We will walk through a short dirt road along the orchards, then continue on a goat trail right under Aarid Baatara. We cross a spring right after and then keep walking under the cliffs until we reach Skhour el Istiraha.
At this point, we walk toward the air tower and start our decent toward Ain el Chhahir. We will pass under Qrani el Mogher to end our walk at el Ramliye church at 1570m.
A steep walk uphill toward the east on a goat trail will follow to reach 1736m, then we will pursue downhill to reach Ouadi Hafroun and Wadi el Mihal right after. Finally, we cross a dense forest to reach Auberge Arz Ehmej at 1360m.
Practical details:
Trail length: 8.3 km
Level of difficulty: Moderate
Difference in level (positive): 389 m
Difference in level (negative): 555 m
What to bring: walking shoes, walking pole, back pack, water, light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), hat, wind breaker (K-way), fleece jacket, Torch or head lamp.
Cost: 30$ (or 45000 LBP) covering guides, transportation and insurance. (Please bring the exact change).
Feasibility: A minimum of 15 persons is required.
The meeting place: is at 7h30 am at the parking near the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, take the road of the Presidential palace in front of the Hypermarché Abou Khalil Hazmieh, then the first turn left towards the hospital. Please, Be on time!
