The next ILAC meeting is going to be at the following location with the agenda below. I highly encourage all MMEs to attend because what is decided at these meetings affects you financially and also the lives of patients that need cannabis as a medicine.
WHY THIS AFFECTS YOU: This agenda proposes limiting patient edibles to 100mg even when patients need higher dose products and limiting the amount of concentrates a patient can purchase. There is an opportunity for public comment if you disagree with the above.

It was an honor to be on the number one political talkshow in the state of Nevada to advocate for WECAN on PBS TV. Euphoria Wellness would have been the first dispensary in the state of Nevada instead of Silver State Relief if they were allowed to take product in Clark County. Please give it a watch.
***Great Strains For Conditions
This is a great webpage that shows the best strains to treat various conditions from Leafly data. I know weedmaps dominates patient dispensary referrals but Leafly has the strain data that they are looking for. When I spoke with the salesperson in Nevada for Leafly, I encouraged him to only have legal MMEs on his website instead of Weedmaps illegal delivery services, which are not regulated and untaxed.
***Budtender Training Materials Trichome Institute
I heard an interview of this company on a cannabis podcast and I ordered all his training materials. Everything we can do to make sure our patient consultants (budtenders) are top notch is going to make the Nevada market a huge national success.
***Edibles Safety Sheet Handout for Dispensaries
I created an edibles safety handout sheet for your dispensary, which will be necessary for you to give out to your patients to make sure, we do not have any negative consequences from uneducated edibles consumers.

***Elevate & Vegas Cannabis Magazine Please Purchase Advertisement And Support Cannabis Media
Please support these cannabis magazines with your advertising dollars. They are both instrumental in the Nevada marijuana community by informing patients, future patients, and out of town guests who are cannabis patients. They also normalize cannabis consumption for the Nevada community and the world. It is going to take a good 6 months of continued advertisement for your brand to really resonate with consumers. Each magazine allows you to reach a different segment of cannabis consumers, so I advise that you advertise in both. Vegas Cannabis Magazine is now helping patients get their cards, so you will also be increasing your customer base by advertising with them.

I will have a published article in July’s Senior Voice talking to Las Vegas Seniors about using Cannabis as medicine. Please consider advertising in this publication to reach an important and influential segment of Nevada citizens.

Hemp Fest Las Vegas will be hosted by Tommy Chong and feature Collie Buddz and Kottonmouth Kings among many others. I have the privilege of being chosen as one of the speakers this year at the festival.
***Cannabis In Nevada – Your Opinion is Important
I am doing an anonymous marketing survey for Nevada MMEs, so I can get a better understanding of what patients want from MMEs, once they are open. This data will be published into an article once I feel I have a representative sample. Please answer the survey if you use cannabis as medicine.

We signed the lease on a 8,000 square foot school, which will get its certificate of occupancy in August. We need financial support & office equipment donations. Our WECAN facebook has over 130,000 likes with 41,000 reached. We want to help connect you with the cannabis patient community. We can also give you a tax receipt because WECAN is a non-profit.
