performing sector of the day was Metallic Ore (+2.36%), while the weakest
was Oil Products (-2.91%). Automotive (-0.13%) was the most actively traded
sector with IRR 191 billion (approx. USD 4.8 million) of shares exchanged.
Today the companies making the most impact on the All-Share Index included
Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -4.81%), Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA
-2.52%) and Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH -4.77%). The highest trade volume
was posted by Azarab Industries Co. (AZAB -0.03%), with IRR 73 billion
(approx. USD 1.8 million). The market’s total traded value dropped 39% from
Monday to IRR 1,190 billion (approx. USD 30 million).

Mines & Metals Development Investment Co. (MADN +3.03%) was the biggest
gainer among the top 30 stocks, while Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -4.81%)
saw the steepest drop. In total the top 30s traded value stood at IRR 316
billion (approx. USD 8 million), up 60% from Monday.

The Tehran Stock Exchange was closed
yesterday for a public holiday. Today Rail Seir Kosar Co. (RSKZ) went public
on the Iran Fara Bourse market, offering 10% of its shares. Rail Seir Kosar
is a rail transportation company offering freight and passenger services
between Mashhad and several cities, including Tehran. Its shares were priced
at IRR 2,090 (approx. USD 5.3 cents), giving RSKZ a total value of IRR 986
billion (approx. USD 25 million) on its first trading day. On Sunday, Pakdis
Co. (PKDZ), a juice company, launched its IPO of 28 million shares,
representing 10% of its total equity. Its shares closed up 4.99% today at IRR
2,546 (approx. USD 6.5 cents), making a gain of 10.2% since its initial
offer.
