Dates With FM Announced And Exclusive Website EP Download Offer
New Albums From Heartbreak Radio, Wild Rose, Bai Bang and Covered Call Announced

 Hi everyone!!

Welcome to the latest AOR Heaven news from M.E.P.R........

Our Welsh / English five piece AOR trend-setters Serpentine have announced that they'll be busy once again in the early part of 2013.
As well as recording for a new record (sessions which have included Ten main man Gary Huges no less!), the guys have been given a one hour slot on the inaugural Hard Rock Hell - AOR Festival which takes place at Rotherham's Magna Centre in early April. The lads will be on the Sunday 7th alongside Skid Row, Jeff Scott Soto and Kip Winger amongst many.
The band has also had an exclusive offer running through its website over the last few weeks. To celebrate dates with FM in March (see below), the band spent Christmas recording 2 acoustic favourites, and are offering these for download exclusively through www.planetserpentine.com. The songs, "Whatever Heartache" and "For The Love Of It All" have been dubbed the 'Living And Dying In Acoustic Definition' sessions, and were produced by long-time confidante Sheena Sear. The FM dates will be the first chance to catch an exclusive NEW song by the guys....
The dates with FM run from March 15th - March 18th and are as follows;

Friday 15th March. Muni Arts Centre. Pontypridd

Saturday 16th March. Slade Rooms. Wolverhampton

Sunday 17th March. King Tuts. Glasgow

Monday 18th March. Arts Centre. Bingley
After all that, the band will then be descending on Hednesford, Cannock, for a triple bill with fellow UK bands Daylight Robbery and Ten.
Wednesday 27th March. Hednesford. Lucy's Bar

Whilst also in the news this week......, are details of the next few releases from the AOR Heaven stable.
Producer Claes Andreasson and keyboard player Johan Axelsson (right) have been planning new album "On Air" for some seven years, and February 25th will see this album finally released. Featuring the guitar of Mats Johansson, best known for a solo spot on Asia's "Aqua" release and Wojtek Goral from Stevie Wonder's band, the album is a beautiful array of pop, Westcoast melody and rousing AOR, and will be a Spring highlight for devotees of Westcoast music circa 1978-1985.
Further details on this will follow, and you can read the first UK exclusive interview with Claes in Fireworks Magazine's next issue.
The Heartbreak Radio album will be released on the same day as AOR Heaven's latest Greek discovery, Wild Rose's "Dangerous" record.
Formed by soloist Andy Rock, and featuring the warming vocals of David A Saylor, "Dangerous" is a full on AOR rocker with superb solo work from Rock and vibrant vocals.

Full details of the record and bio will follow, but interviews commence now. Both records are on the Haulix system.
Wild Rose

And finally, news that long-term AOR Heaven rockers Bai Bang, and new signings Covered Call will also be releasing new albums this Spring.
Bai Bang are strongly rumoured to be back in the London area in February, so full information will follow, and this could just be the chance to hear new tracks for the first time.... It'll be the band's seventh record and is pencilled in for late March.....
Whilst Covered Call, are due to have their new album available in April.

Hailing from Sweden, Covered Call feature the vocals of Goran Edman (centre), and feature in their ranks Andy Loos, a previous member of ex AFM recording artists Lion's Share.
The band's debut album "Money Never Sleeps" was released to critical acclaim in 2009, and the second album "Impact" recorded at the hugely influential Studio Fredman (where the likes of In Flames and Hammerfall recorded some of their greatest work). It was mixed by none other than Lion's Share's Lars Chriss.
More details to follow!!
