Bringing Caribbean Carnival History to Life!!!!!
 
The Main event for Caribbean American Heritage is  Tropicalfete Carnival Festival a partnership with Brooklyn Public library on Sunday!!!! June 25 2 PM on Plaza Eastern Parkway and Flatbush Ave. 
 
Our host for the event are award-winning journalist,  from Essence Magazine, Melissa Noel, and Tropicalfete board member, Keran Deterville. Our carnival queen will be Averi Harper who is the deputy political director for ABC News.  We are bringing the heat with fire eating, the pageantry of our costumes, music, dance showmanship and craftsmanship.
 
 
The event  will include local performers as well as the different Tropicalfete performing groups, Tropicalfete's Voices, Tropicalfete’s Steel Pan Ensemble, Tropicalfete’s Stilting Unit, Tropicalfete’s Body of Vibration Limbo, Dance & Theater and Tropicalfete’s Masquerade production.
